The greatest victory in life is the victory over self
Prov. 25:11. ( Please read )
Prov. 18:21 states, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
You realize that in Rev. 19:15, when Jesus returns in the revelation of Christ, 7 years after the rapture, there will be a sharp sword out of His mouth, "that with it He should smite the nations:"
Words are probably one of the most important things in our world. Without doubt, words are of the most valuable, or the most vile of all the abilities we possess.
Listen again to Prov. 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue..."
What we know of God is revealed in words. What others know of us is revealed in words. ( Jesus stated in Matt.12:34 our mouth reveals our heart.) What God wants us to know is revealed in words.
Words, whether they be written, spoken or signed, and as I said, are of the most important things in our world. They communicate truth, error, love, hate, anger, attitude, gratitude, lust, confusion, and a “World of iniquity.” James. 3:11-12 uses a fountain to illustrate.
They have built empires and destroyed empires, built and destroyed homes, friendships and lives, encouraged success and failure.!Someone mentioned to me recently that a good message would be "encouraging words, not discouraging words." I told them I had just written a lot of notes from
