It is impossible to find the answer to the subject of sodomy apart from the Bible. One either takes a worldly bias or a Biblical base for a position. It is impossible to accept sodomy without rejecting the Bible. Listen how confusing the subject becomes when a person tries to justify sodomy from the Bible:

God created man; supposedly, He created some sodomite and some straight; then God condemns the sodomite, therefore, God is guilty. It becomes clear that God cannot both create the sodomite and condemn sodomy.

In my years of pastorate, I have dealt with this issue in the lives of many and almost without exception, the victim was initiated at a young age. Molested! Sodomy is a choice not a condition. In Gen. 19:7, Lot said to the Sodomites, "I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly" and in the next verse offered his two virgin daughters to them. It is obvious that Lot knew their intention was to sodomize the two visitors. Notice also in v.4, it was "both young and old." These were initiates. Sodomy is rarely a monogous sin. It is sinful, not scientific. Science first forms a belief system and then searches for a justifiable answer, as in the case of evolution. The subject will never be reconciled without the Bible and is always humanistic in nature. It is obvious from the many articles and letters in the Daily News that the defenders of sodomy arrive at their desired position and then search for a route to best defend it, even by twisting Scriptures. Nobody in their right mind can use Romans 1 to defend sodomy. These words are used there to describe the sin of sodomy: "vile affections" "without natural affection" "receiving in themselves the recompense of their error..." "men with men" "for even their women did change the natural use (of the body sexually) into that which is against nature" "the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, (sexually) burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly..." "Against nature" means to go against the God-given natural instinct to be attracted to the opposite sex. Verse 24 tells us that "God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves."

So, why are we surprised that they disagree with our Biblical view? I believe the Bible, God's Word. If you disagree, your disagreement is not with me. It is with God's Holy Word.
