The Resurrection was required for eternal life

The greatest victory in life is the victory over self
(Is there no rapture of the Saints and only one resurrection?)
Paul stood before the Sanhedrin in Acts 23:6, and notice: "But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question." This turns the Pharisees and Sadducees against each other, Verse 7. Verse 8 explains why: "For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both." The reason the Sadducees are "sad-you-see" is found in 1 Cor. 15:19. "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable."
John 5:28-29 mentions only two resurrections, and you, my friend, will be in one of them! "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." These two resurrections are separated by the Tribulation and the Millennial reign of Christ, in other words, at least 1007 years apart.
1 Corinthians 15:22-24 gives the order of the Resurrections: "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, (Resurrection) when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father;..." Please follow closely for an outline:
- Christ the Firstfruits (See Matthew 27:52-53) The vineyard is checked and proven to be ready for the harvest.
- The Harvest "Afterwards (after the firstfruits) they that are Christ's at His coming." (This includes the Old Testament Saints. See 1 Thess. 4:13-18)
- Gleanings (After the harvest). In Revelation 20:4, the Tribulation saints are raised.
THESE THREE MAKE UP THE FIRST RESURRECTION, THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE!. The "End Resurrection" in 1 Cor. 15:24 takes place when the kingdom is delivered up to the Father, when the dead lost are raised and judged at the Great White Throne Judgment in Rev. 20:11-15. Rev. 20:5-6 states "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." JESUS SAID, "I AM THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE: HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE:" Will you take part in the First Resurrection? Are you sure you are saved?
