Reincarnation

Our Lord Jesus Christ was not reincarnated...He was Resurrected! There is a world of difference between the two. Here is what the Webster's New Universal Unabridged Dictionary Says concerning "Reincarnate": To give another or different body to a (soul or spirit).

"Reincarnation": Rebirth (of a soul) in another body. A new incarnation.

The doctrine that the soul reappears after death in another and different bodily form.

So, what reincarnation teaches is that a disembodied spirit enters another body form. Those who hold to a religious system of reincarnation usually teach that upon merit or demerit in this life, status in the next life is determined. That status being god, man or animal. So, a chain is formed from one existence to another. The cycle is broken when the individual becomes absorbed in a nebulous existence referred to by various names, the most popular being Nirvana. "Nebulous" means: a cloud, mist or vapor.

Reincarnation teaches a recurring cycle of existence. One cannot believe the Bible and reincarnation at the same time. They contradict each other. The Bible plainly states, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Heb. 9:27) Paul states that to be absent from the body is to "be present with the Lord." (2 Cor.5:8) He also stated in Phil.1:23 that he had "a desire to depart, and to be with Christ;" When the rich man died in Luke 16, "He lift up his eyes being in torments." My friend, the teaching of reincarnation may temporarily remove the fear of hell for you if you are lost, but the moment you pass from this life into the next, you will know it was all a trick of Satan. Reincarnation advances a future life on earth in another body. However, Resurrection advances a future life in eternity in the same, yet changed body. Please read 1 Cor.15 and especially notice vs.35-57 . Verse 44 says, "It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body." Verse 52 says, "and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." Jesus was not reincarnated, He was resurrected in the same body! They came looking for His body and it was gone! Resurrected! Friends, whether you are saved or lost, your body will be resurrected and you will stand before God, in your resurrected body. Yes lost friend, you will go to hell with the same body you are in right now , only it will be changed in such a way that it will not be consumed, though it burns forever. Please Read Revelation 20:10-15.

The Bible speaks much about Satanic deception in the last days and we haven't seen anything yet. Paul warned of "seducing spirits" and "doctrines of devils". He also spoke in 2 Cor. 11:14 of Satan being, "transformed into an angel of light." Reincarnation is a Satanic deception that only a deceived person could believe. The entertainment industry in America is full of this deception. Many of our young people are being drawn into it and away from the pure Gospel and the True Word of God which teaches about a new life in eternity, gained only through the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for the sin of the world. John 10:9-10 Jesus said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The resurrection of Christ guarantees the resurrection of every living soul, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting damnation. Jn.5:28-29. Are you Saved?
