The greatest victory in life is the victory over self
Some of the national media are saying what some of us have been saying since before Bill Clinton was elected: "Bill Clinton is not a good example to our young people." Remember the draft dodging, "I didn't inhale" Bill Clinton? He is the same Bill Clinton that lied to the special Grand Jury about his involvement with Monica Lewinsky. Now we hear all the talk about how this will affect the presidency and our young people's respect for it. What does Bill Clinton owe our youth as he holds the highest office in the land?
Jesus said in Luke 12:48, "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom men have committed much, of him will they ask the more."
Please read Matt. 18:1-10 and notice especially verses 5-6, "And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." (See also Mark 9:33-42 and Luke 17:2)
I say this without apology: The most neglected, violated, abused, misled, and taken advantage of group in America is our youth! They are violated physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially and sexually. Our youth deserved better from our President! Our God demands more of our President! Do you realize what our children are faced with, exposed to and bombarded with daily? No wonder we are losing them in record numbers. They face atheism and adultery, fornication and filthiness, rebellion and rage, temptation and trouble, immorality and ingratitude. WE EXPECT MORE FROM OUR PRESIDENT! Matt. 19:13-15, "Then were there brought unto Him little children, that He should put His hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked Him. But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for such is the kingdom of heaven. And He laid His hands on them, and departed thence."
I believe God will stoke the fires of Hell hotter for those who offend and turn children away from the truth of the gospel. Mr. Clinton may get a slap on the wrist from Congress, but he will still stand before God, because, "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48.
