Heaven's Sounding Sweeter

The darker this world becomes the brighter my future becomes. The foundations of America are being destroyed. Every institution ordained by God has been attacked, polluted, diluted and well-nigh destroyed. Heaven is sounding sweeter! Homes are at critical stage! Churches are at critical stage! Our government is at critical stage! Heaven is sounding sweeter! Truth is perverted; toleration is promoted; thoughts are polluted; trash is penetrating our nation; treason is permitted; trust is paralyzed; and our nation is polarized; Heaven is sounding sweeter.

Read James 5:1-12 and notice vs10-11 especially.

We believers have some Old Testament Saints who are examples of suffering affliction and of patience. Heaven is sounding sweeter! Jesus gave the promise to His disciples that He would return. In fact, He said  in John 14:6, "Let not your hearts be troubled..." My heart is not troubled and heaven is sounding sweeter every day! Ps. 11:3 states, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" In spite of all the turmoil, upheaval, confusion, deception, mistrust, debauchery and demonic activity, Christian's have a bright future. My future is as bright as the promises of God. "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable." (1 Cor. 15:19) By the way, you should read all of 1 Cor. 15. It is a wonderful chapter dealing much with life after death. Heaven is sounding sweeter to me because v53 says, "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." 2 Peter 3:10 tells us "the heavens (stellar) shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt (nuclear) with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." I will not be here for this great and grand conclusion. Verse 13 states, "Nevertheless we, (saved) according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness." Heaven is sounding sweeter every day!

Look at 2 Thess. 1:5-10 and especially notice vs. 6-8.

"Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God; and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." Now look at 1Thess. 4:13-18 and especially notice v13 and v18 which state in part, "...that ye sorrow not, even as others (lost) which have no hope...Wherefore comfort one another with these words." Verse 17 tells why. "Then we (saved) which are alive (at the rapture) and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
